Licensees can access the 2020 Annual Report Filing through the Law Society Portal. The Annual Report Filing must be submitted by March 31, 2021.

Last day to enrol in Annual Pre-Authorized Payment Plan (Annual PAP) for annual fee. Licensees registering for the Annual PAP will be eligible for a discount of up to $50 on their 2021 annual fee. The discount will be pro-rated according to the licensee's fee category. Register for the Annual PAP through your Law Society Portal account. There is no administration fee for this payment option.

2020 Civil Society Organizations Report due. Failure to file by this date may result in de-registration of the organization as a CSO.

2020 Annual Report Filing must be submitted by March 31. Lawyers and paralegals who fail to complete and submit their Annual Report Filing by March 31 are subject to administrative suspension.

Final date for lawyers and paralegals subject to the CPD Requirement to complete all required hours and record them in the Law Society Portal. Starting in 2021, lawyers and paralegals subject to the CPD Requirement must complete 1 Professionalism Hour each year that addresses issues of equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI Hours). These hours will count towards the CPD Professionalism Hours requirement for that year. Failure to complete and record required CPD Hours will result in a referral for administrative suspension on or about this date.
