Paralegal Licensing Examination Registration and Deferral Information

As public health measures regarding social distancing remain in place indefinitely, a decision on the method of administering licensing examinations will be communicated as soon as it becomes available.

Registration, payment, the Statement of Field Placement and a final official transcript are due no later than the applicable registration deadline for the licensing examination sitting.

The  Request for Registration or Deferment form (below) is to be used by candidates who
(i) were unsuccessful on a licensing examination and are choosing to register for a rewrite; or
(ii) had previously selected a licensing examination sitting but are seeking to defer the licensing examination

If you have outstanding documents, such as your final official transcript, the Statement of Field Placement or any outstanding fees, you will not be permitted to write the licensing examination. Please refer to the Dates to Remember page for specific deadline dates for each sitting.
