Biographical Sketch
Lewis Samuel was born on July 25th, 1900. He attended the University of Cambridge, in Cambridge, England, and graduated in 1922 with a B.A. degree. That same year, he was admitted to Osgoode Hall Law School. He was called to the Bar in 1927, and practised law in Toronto, Ontario. Samuel died in Toronto on November 6th, 1986.
Scope and Content
Fonds consists of records pertaining to the legal career of Lewis Samuel. These records document Samuel's various legal certifications, his legal education and legal career. The records in this fonds include certificates, photographs and a legal publication. Also included in the fonds are two prints, a notary public seal, and a rotary desk calendar.
