Biographical Sketch
Hugh Thomas Kelly was born on March 1st, 1858. He was admitted as a student-at-law by the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1880, and was called to the Bar in 1886. Kelly was appointed a King's Counsel in 1908. Kelly served as a judge of the Ontario Supreme Court's High Court of Justice, Common Pleas Division, from 1911 until 1913, when the court was abolished. He then served as a judge of the High Court of Justice from 1913 to 1937. Kelly died on December 8th, 1945.
