Administrative History
The Canadian Bar Association was formed in 1896. It is an organization of lawyers formed to provide support by the profession to the profession so that it may render better service to its members and the public. The national organization consists of semi-autonomous provincial branches. The Council of the Canadian Bar Association is the governing body of the national organization.
Scope and Content
Collection consists of copies of typed minutes of the Council of the Canadian Bar Association. Also included is correspondence, a form, a list, and a schedule regarding the 1955 Commonwealth and Empire Law Conference.
No restrictions on access.
