Rules of Practice and Procedure were amended with the addition of Rule 21: Failure to co-operate applications. The new rule and related amendments streamline the summary hearing process. See the

DHCs reappointed: Fay Faraday, Lai-King Hum and Natasha Persaud were reappointed as Discrimination and Harassment Counsel (DHCs) for a term of three years. The DHC program confidentially assists anyone who may have experienced discrimination or harassment by a lawyer, paralegal or student member of the Law Society.

Human Rights Monitoring Group (HRMG) interventions approved: Convocation approved letters of intervention regarding Corporación Colectivo de Abogados José Alvear Restrepo of Colombia and Waleed Abu al-Khair of Saudi Arabia.
